An Open Letter to the Christian Churches of North America
May 22, 2025
An Open Letter to the Christian Churches throughout North America:
It has come to our attention that lawlessness abounds within the body of Christ, and the duties of internationally known church leaders to implement proper restraints necessary to prevent sin from polluting the body, especially amongst leaders, have been neglected. Without proper restraints against evil, the body of Christ has so been corrupted by worldliness that we find it necessary to establish a council of church leaders that are uncompromised with running large ministry platforms. This panel will be comprised of individuals who have been chosen and prepared by God to execute righteous judgment within the fellowship of believers in order to protect God’s flocks as directed in 1 Corinthians 6:1-11.
It is with great humility and fear of the Lord that we must intervene according to the convictions of the Holy Spirit held within this leadership council. Our purpose is to make these convictions known and to hold sin accountable in order to keep the body of believers spiritually healthy and presentable to our Lord and Savior. Our heart’s desire is to see God’s spiritual house grow in maturity into the fullness of the stature of the measure of Christ (1 Peter 2:4-5, Eph. 4:13).
The following is a list of standards and action points we will be working towards:
LEADERSHIP
Ø Deemphasizing exalted knowledge derived from manmade curriculums (1 Cor. 1:17)
Christ is head of the Church led by the Holy Spirit (Col. 1:18, Eph. 4:15-16)
Ø Eliminating the distinction between ‘trained’ and hired laity vs. congregant (1 Peter 5:2)
Leadership structure will be based upon a Biblical foundation (Eph. 4:11-13, 1 Cor. 12:28)
Ø Eliminating an ownership or lordship mentality over the sheep (1 Peter 5:3)
Viewing the body of Christ as a whole and treating all members with equal importance (Ro. 12:3, Phil. 2:3, 1 Cor. 12:12-27)
Decentralizing power from the few by commissioning humble shepherds (Ro. 13)
MODEL
Ø Deemphasizing the church being run as a 501(c)(3) corporation
Returning to an early church life and faith model (Acts)
Ø Deemphasizing building, remodeling, or maintenance of temporal, material structures
Building carefully upon the foundation (1 Cor. 3)
Ensuring vision and mission originate solely from Scripture (Matt. 28:18-20)
Ø Deemphasizing a continuous centralized platform around one teacher (Romans 12:3)
Encouraging greater five-fold teamwork within localities (Eph. 4)
Focusing on the equipping of each and every believer (1 Peter 2)
Breaking up into smaller groups where each person can use their gifts (1 Cor. 14:26)
Ø Eliminating man-made denominations, divisions, and territorial mindsets which spur jealousy and competition (James 3:16, Ro. 16:17-18, Mark 3:25, Jude 1:19)
Establishing one singular recognized church body in each locality which will meet in small group gatherings within ‘safe homes.’ (Acts 4:32-35)
Ø Deemphasizing the parading of spiritual gifts on physical or online platforms (Ro. 12:10)
Coming into unity by setting aside personal ministry names/branding and contributing spiritual gifts within each individual’s locality (1 Cor. 1:10)
MONEY
Ø Deemphasizing giving to individual’s ministries and their spiritual gift (Matt. 10:8)
Collecting funds within each locality for the needy and destitute
Providing transparency in the collecting and disbursing of money
Ø Rejecting the overabundance of ‘staff’ and expenditures the Lord no longer approves
Encouraging full-time work or tentmaking rather than being a burden to the church (Eph. 4:28, 2 Thess. 3)
Establishing boundaries for leadership salaries from the church (1 Cor. 9)
Ø Eliminating the funding of church parking lot paving and patching projects
Prioritizing giving to the needs within the church community (Acts 2:45, Romans 12:13)
Ø Reducing or cutting out middle-men charitable organizations with salaried staff
Prioritizing giving directly to the poor (Gal. 2:10)
Ø Cutting out middle-men 501(c)(3) red-tape mission organizations with salaried staff
Sending and supporting approved missionaries directly from the local church
DOCTRINE
Ø Separating from false teachings (2 Timothy 4:3)
Identifying and filtering out false teaching as modeled by Paul the Apostle
Implementing sound doctrine and teaching (2 Tim. 2:15, 1 Cor. 4:6)
Ø Separating from false shepherds, false prophets, etc. (Ezekiel 13)
Calling out false ministers by name as modeled by Paul the Apostle
Commissioning humble shepherds and elders in regions and cities (Titus 1:5)
HOLINESS
Ø Eliminating slander, hypocrisy, deceit, envy, malice, lust, sexual immorality, greed, and all other sins named in scripture (Eph. 4:31, Col. 3:8, Eph. 5:3)
Maintaining the standards of purity and holiness (1 Peter 1:13-21)
Setting and maintaining guidelines for the protection of a spiritual community (Eph. 5:3)
Ø Eliminating the cover up of injustice and spiritually abusive situations (Micah 6:8)
Practicing Matthew 18 without partiality (1 Tim. 5:21, James 3:17)
Exercising righteous judgments in order to keep the body pure and holy (1 Cor. 6:1-11)
Implementing public repentance for sin and idolatry (Ez. 14, Matt. 18, 1 Tim. 5:20)
Implementing public expulsion from the body (1 Cor. 5)
Our highest call and the greatest commandment is to love God and to love one another (Matt. 22:37-40, 1 Peter 1:22). We take these matters very seriously, first to glorify God and then to uphold his honor before the sheep of his pasture and the eyes of outsiders.
According to the guidelines found in 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, we will be appointing additional members to this council followed by the appointment of more overseers, elders, and shepherds of various regions and cities across North America. Thank you for your attention to these matters.
May the Lord be with you in Spirit and in Truth, guarding your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus as you grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior, remaining spotless and blameless in his sight (2 Peter 3:14-18).
